We craft our Grand Cru with pilsner malt imported from Belgium and use a classic yeast from the same iconic brewing nation. A subtle malt profile compliments the fruity esters produced by this distinctive yeast. A blend of noble hops adds just a touch of aroma, nicely rounding out this deep golden, slightly tart, effervescent delight.

OUR FIRST BELGIAN-STYLE IPA

Our first dry hopped Belgian-style IPA, we brew Cicada with a classic Belgian yeast strain and local wildflower honey, making it a truly indigenous ale. Subtle bubble gum notes from the yeast balance a smooth, caramel maltiness. Both citrus and earthy flavors round out this full-bodied, complex beer. Our buzzworthy brew will leave quite the impression on you, just like its namesake, which engulfs the mid Atlantic region every 17 years.

GET INTO SOME TRUBBEL

Taking elements from two classic Belgian styles, we’ve crafted a beer that incorporates the best characteristics of both tripels and dubbels. Trubbel boasts the strength and spiciness of a tripel and the rich malt character of a dubbel. We brew this uncommon ale with a classic Belgian yeast strain, dark Belgian candi sugar, and a unique blend of specialty malts, producing subtle biscuit, chocolate, and caramel overtones.

Olde Bartholomew Barleywine

FIND A FRIEND IN OLD BART

Olde Bart was a free spirit who bent elbows with the best of ‘em. We’ve made this amber-hued, English style Barleywine ale for characters like him. Brewed with 100% Maris Otter malt (a traditional floor-malted English barley) and noble hops, Olde Bartholomew is an unfiltered winter warmer with a smooth malt background, soft fruit overtones and a slight hop spice in the finish. Just a few sips are sure to arouse the character in all of us.
